Original Hand-Signed Electric Guitar by Yuvi
Yuvi the artist combines traditional techniques with digital technology. His characters and their settings are formed from acrylic paint, paper cuttings, layers of old newspaper clippings, sketches, silk screen prints, various glues, inks, spray paints, stencils, sand, glass fragments and more. He often uses his bare hands, which means he has an intense physical relationship with each piece he creates. In some of Yuvi’s guitar artworks, he builds rich textural layers, tearing, scraping, and distressing the surface to create a multi-dimensional depth that he paints and integrates directly within the contours of the instrument. The finished composition is intensely tactile, transforming a classic musical instrument into a sculptural masterpiece, inviting the viewer to feel the work with their own hands.
